ClinicSonar is a free tool that reads a clinic website and gives you a friendly read on how visible and how compliant it looks. Please treat the result as a helpful prompt to check things, not as a final ruling. These terms explain what the tool is, and what it is not.
ClinicSonar reads the public homepage of a website you give it and scores it against published guidance: the advertising rules set by the ASA and CAP, and the signals that decide whether a site is easy for Google and AI to find. It returns a score, a set of flags, and suggested fixes. It is provided free by Ascendio (Luca Scorza).
Guidance, not legal advice. Your result is automated guidance based on publicly available rules. It is not legal advice, it is not a regulatory ruling, and it is not a guarantee that a website does or does not comply with any rule or law. Before you act on it, confirm anything important with the ASA, CAP, the MHRA, or a suitably qualified professional.
ClinicSonar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the ASA, CAP, the MHRA, or any regulator or government body. We simply read those bodies' published rules and check a page against them so you can see where you might want to look closer.
The tool reads what is publicly visible on a page at the moment you scan it. It can miss things, and it can flag something that turns out to be fine on a closer human look. A score is a starting point for a conversation, not the last word. Always use your own judgement, and get proper advice for anything that matters.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Ascendio is not liable for any loss or decision made on the basis of a result, or for the tool being unavailable at any time. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Any brand, product or treatment names that appear in a result belong to their owners. Where the tool names a treatment, it does so only to identify and explain it, as education, never to advertise or promote it.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute falls to the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms as the tool develops. The current version is effective from 27 July 2026, and the date at the top always shows the latest version.
